I've been drawing since I was 2-years-old, but you won't see any of that early work online. It's cute, but not something I would promote, haha. Nope, this 'early work' is from my later high school years, an exploration of materials, subject matter, composition and precision - early illustrations and, essentially, prep work for future art.
The primary media used in my early work includes pen, colored pencil and watercolor. However, as this was an exploratory phase, these pieces also involve oil paints, gouache, charcoal and paint pen. Just one note - don't confuse the watercolor for marker, such as a Prismacolor!
Definitely an exploration of materials and all things art, huh? I have employed paint pens and, occasionally, permanent marker, but I've never used a Prismacolor marker in my work. I use watercolor like a marker to show shadow and detail, such as seen below with that first image 'Arizona' done entirely in 0.3mm black pen to outline the work, and watercolor throughout.
