In the spring of 2011 I took a two-week trip to Italy with my school, Massachusetts College of Art & Design for Art History class. We spent several days in Rome, and nearly two weeks in Venice. The photos you see here feature Rome, Venice, and trips around various parts of Italy.
When we touched-down in Rome, and half of us had energy enough to explore. A fan of street photography and a documentarian of life, I took quite a few photos of our first day in Italy as we ventured to and around Via della Croce and soon thereafter, Piazza del Popolo. The colors are beautiful, and everything seems to glow.
I truly love photographing people just living life. We were told it's not usually this crowded; we landed the day after Carnivale ended, and the streets were packed. It was exciting and loud and in a way, this added to the experience.
