My 35-minute 16mm/HDV thesis film 'My Big Bad Wolf' will be released this spring! The premiere date has been set for May 11, so bring your mothers for a hauntingly surreal time. This pseudo-romantic-horror-surrealist-psychodrama follows a couple's deteriorating relationship, reflected in through the main character's actions and her own mind tricks. After watching the trailer, you'll definitely get an instant feel for the film...
The premiere will take place in Massachusetts College of Art & Design's Pozen Center, parking and entry by Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum on May 11th @ 7pm.
It's Mother's Day - so bring your mom! It's also the graduation day of the film's star, Chelsea Ross Miller, and a big congrats to her!
The night begins with a live musical performance by the film's musicians Moth Vegas, followed by two spoken-word performances by Lewis Morris. The 36-minute film will follow, and I will be present to answer questions throughout the night. A wall of my work will also be on display, and I crafted these fine postcards to advertise the premiere, and actually sent them out! And as you can see from this post, I clearly love that single image of our lead actress, haha.
