My photograph 'Italy As Cuba' made it into the PH21 Gallery 'Harmony: A Juried International Photography Exhibition' in Budapest, Hungary!
In less than one week the PH21 Gallery show 'Harmony' opens for their international, juried photography exhibition, running from July 1st - 22nd. Several weeks ago I entered my photography work into two gallery shows, and two competitions. This gallery is part of the Budapest University Of Technology, PH21 Gallery is located in the Szkéné Theatre.
My photograph 'Italy as Cuba' was taken in 2011, and edited in 2013 - when I finally had time to review the photos I took on my Trip to Italy.
"Harmony is an elusive, perhaps even ineffable aspect of photographic images. Although many photographers share the view that the communicative impact of images is enhanced by their harmony, there are countless individual artistic interpretations of what makes an image harmonious..."
The show 'Harmony' will run from July 1 - 22, and will have the selected artists' work professionally printed, backed on board and hung there in the space. Pretty exciting to be part of a live gallery show - and overseas! I can finally add an international location to my CV.
The PH21 Gallery has added a new exhibition page for the 'Harmony' show, featuring juror reviews, more details about the artists, and a lookbook!
I took this photo on my 2011 trip to Italy, and you can see more on my 'Trip to Italy' portfolio page. I'll be entering my photography into more competitions and gallery shows in the future, hopefully with more good results to share!
