Actually, they're my lips! Over the last two years, people who have viewed my work and desire an art print consistently gravitate towards my video and print series 'Linda Scott' (2012). Then again, half the people who have viewed my work seem to overlook this series completely. Why? Tucked away within a larger series 'The Empty Room' (2012), Linda Scott remained largely unseen, and many others were unaware of the multimedia aspect to this piece.
This video is a personal performance of the song 'I've Told Every Little Star' (1961) as the singer, Linda Scott. Initially created as a way to both entertain myself and play with channel-swapping during the post-production process, this project became something more. The images created became high-impact, high-quality images that express my own personality through my simple impersonation of Linda Scott.
Currently, I have one, framed 'Linda Scott' triptych sitting beside me. However, the images from this series can print as large as 28 x 52", and I'm looking to submit them to a gallery for a show. You can also see several prints from the series, more of which are available to view on the portfolio page.
If you know of any gallery owners, staffers, artists, shows, or people who would simply be interested in the work, let me know!
