On Saturday 10/12 I went to the 4th Annual Filmshift Festival at the Somerville Theatre in Davis Square to catch the feature 'A Big Love Story' (Dir. Patrick Barry), and then to catch the 5:30pm screening of my film 'The Robber' (2011)!
You won't find the director's names listed on the Filmshift website, but if you venture down to the festival this coming weekend (Saturday, Oct. 19 + Sunday, Oct. 20), the names are listed in the festival's program.
'A Big Love Story' was really great - I liked the story, and the actors - specifically, the supporting actors. There are even little cartoon segments in the film. And then, my short film screened! If you didn't make it, you can find 'The Robber' on my Vimeo, or embedded below.
I had to rush out of there just after my film, but my friend Tara and I managed to catch Jed Hammel, the event's producer, and we took a few photos.
