My short student film 'Ice Cream for Breakfast' is an Official Selection for the Hellfire Film Festival in Kent, England! Screening with several other films for their eighth round on May 3rd, the audience casts their votes for an overall winner.
The films are powerful with heavy subject matter, and I'm humbled to be part of this selection. The festival itself "pay[s] tribute to those who fought and those who lost their lives to ensure the freedoms we enjoy today" during the WWII "Battle of Britain took place in over the English Channel and the skies above Folkestone and Dover, and the two towns were extensively damaged by enemy bombers." I thought this was a pretty interesting backstory and also reveals its subject matter.
Thanks to a friend who suggested I keep sharing 'Ice Cream' with the world until people finally started to see the message and make it heard.
