The new book MAINTENANT 12: A JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY DADA WRITING AND ART (978-1941110652, Three Rooms Press) is available now! The book features work that explores theme “We Are All A ‘Like." My digital art piece "SCREAM" is featured in the book on page 29! - just one page away from my lucky number, haha. The book has 200 pages of dada art and writing, and I am so honored to be included in the "3RP Family" ;)
I won't be able to make the US book launches, but maybe you can! Events in the US will take place in NYC on June 1 at Cornelia Street Cafe, and on June 6 at Le Poisson Rouge, and in LA on June 9 "La Di Dada 6" at Beyond Baroque.
And if you're really into my artwork "SCREAM," prints are available in my online shop via Society6! This image is from my series 'The Coorain Circus' featuring celebrity personality Coorain Devin of "Coloring Coorain." Initially created for a collaborative artist project, this series has taken on a life of its own! You can find more from the series in my online shop, too. I'm definitely going to create more surreal and dadaist art in the future!
The Circle Quarterly Art Review Magazine "Winter 2018" Edition is out now, and my art "Silk" is featured among other amazing artists hand-picked by Circle Foundation!
"In this issue of Circle Quarterly Art Review, we examine work by 108 mid-career and established artists working in a variety of discipline and style. From sculpture, photography, painting, printmaking, digital and mixed media we look at each work for its unique aesthetic as well as how it reflects upon current trends and practices in contemporary art."
You can order a print copy now via Peecho, and enjoy some fantastic art from around the world! Thanks to Circle Foundation for the opportunity and for the publication!
My artwork was accepted into publication Maintenant: A Journal of Contemporary Dada Writing and Art, Volume 12! This annual journal "features the most significant contemporary dada writing and art from around the world" and is published by Three Rooms Press, set to release this June.
I'm both excited and honored that out of a thousand or more submissions, my work was selected to feature in the upcoming volume! This isn't the first time "Scream" has been featured in a printed work; I initially created an expansion of this piece for the 2016 "Coloring Coorain Calendar," now part of the Boston Athenæum's permanent artist book collection.
I'm super excited to announce that my art has been accepted for publication with JellyBaby Magazine, the "art and Photography publication featuring fun and colorful babes of all shapes and sizes from all over the planet!"
A little surprise for me - I made back cover! That geometric pastel image above will grace the back of your issue, how cool! You can purchase your copy on MagCloud, and subscribe to my newsletter for updates! ;)
