Villa 'La Rotunda,' a major classic of the Pantheonic type, often known as the Villa Rotonda or Villa Capra. Situated just outside Vicenza in northern Italy and designed by Andrea Palladio. We visited 'Villa Almerico Capra Valmarana' along our day trip to Trieste and northern Italy. The space was very haunting, so I tried my best to photograph the statues to give it that extra push.
Throughout our time in Italy, it rained, misted, and downpoured. In the rare moments when the rain took a breather, I took photos. Sure, a cloudless sky is great for even light when taking photographs - but overcast verging on darkness can make things a little more difficult. In a way, the dark quality of the images created a pseudo-film grain look, which gives my travel photography a very interesting quality.
